Virat Kohli,the most successfull Indian captain,is know for his aggressiveness and century hitting capability.He is also called the Run Machine as he accumulates runs whether he is playing in home or away from home.Virat has 35 centuries to his name till date and is said to break the record of 49 centuries in one day international cricket made by Sachin Tendulkar as he hits centuries at will.
In 2018 during South Africa tour he has hit 558 one day runs in 6 matches which India played against South Africa in South Africa.He has become the first batsman to cross 500 runs in a bilateral series breaking the previous record of his team mate Rohit Sharma who made 491 runs in 6 matches India played against Australia in 2013 which India won by 3-2.In that series Rohit Sharma’s consistency was incredible as he scored his first 200,a 100 and a 50 amassing a record score of 491 runs which was a record until 2018.
So both are great batsmen of India and can win any match single handedly.

When it comes to test matches,Rohit is far behind Virat as the former played only 2 matches while Virat played 10 matches still in those 2 matches Rohit made 217 runs at an average of 217.He also has 1 century and 2 half centuries to his name.
On the other hand Virat,the run machine,has made 1059 runs at an average of 75.64 with 3 double centuries,2 centuries and 1 half century to his account.

In case of one day international matches Rohit is not far behind Virat. As we can see Virat has played 26 matches and amassed 1460 runs at an average of 76.84.Virat has also made 6 centuries and 7 half centuries.

In t20 international matches Rohit is better than Virat as the later has played 10 matches and scored 299 runs at an average of 37.37 with only 2 half centuries to his name.
While Rohit has played 9 matches and scored as many as 283 runs at an average of 31.44 with 1 century and 1 half century to his name.
Remember Virat has not made any century in t20 while Rohit has made 2 centuries.Rohit has record of joint fastest t20 century knock off just 35 balls which he made against Sri Lanka in 2017 and he was the captain of India in that series.
